Alright so basically you watch some animated movies- I chose only 2D animated movies because I like the classic look, but It really doesn’t matter… I guess it doesn’t even have to be animated. THEN: You pull out a pencil, you get some paper, you pause the movie here and there to catch some good faces and expressions, and then you draw! The overall goal of this exercise isn’t to make thing perfect its mostly to give you a wide range of versatility and familiarity with different expressions and cartoon facial structures. I bet most of you could guess a lot of the movies I watched! :) Good luck friend and keep drawing!
Whenever Disney “re-imagines” an animated classic as a live action film, they use so much CGI that they’re essentially making an animated film.
Is no one going to mention that the “live-action” Lion King won’t have any human characters in it so it’s literally just going to be a CGI remake of the movie?
